The Kassel Artist Necropolis in Harleshausen is a cemetery, a park, a work of art in a public area and a walking trail, created by documenta artists who, in their lifetime, committed themselves in their wills to being buried there.
The ball house is closed until further notice for refurbishment and renovation work. The ball house may, however, be hired for special occasions.
